VLT 13% Heat Rejecting Ceramic Window Tint Film

With 13% VLT, this ceramic tint film sits in a sweet spot that many enthusiasts spend years searching for — dark enough to project serious intention from the outside, light enough to maintain safe rear visibility at night. The glass takes on a deep, ink-like tone that reads as intentional and refined rather than simply tinted. Sunlight is cut aggressively, and the interior feels noticeably dimmer and more sheltered even on the brightest days.

Ceramic construction sets this film apart from conventional dyed or carbon options. Without metallic particles in the mix, it performs quietly: heat is absorbed and rejected at the film level, electronics receive no interference, and the smooth appearance resists bubbling or delaminating over the product's lifespan. UV blocking is a core strength of ceramic films, protecting dashboard materials and fabrics from premature aging.

Where it works best

13% VLT is frequently specified for rear side windows and rear windshields on sedans, coupes, and performance SUVs. It pairs particularly well with factory privacy glass or dark-colored vehicles where a cohesive blacked-out appearance is the goal. Installers appreciate the film's forgiving application window and reliable adhesion.

Before you order

Always verify local regulations — 13% VLT is often permitted on rear windows but may be restricted on front side glass in your jurisdiction. Measure each window precisely and factor in a working margin before cutting; ceramic films hold their shape and don't stretch during installation. Use only ammonia-free cleaners on the finished surface to preserve long-term adhesive performance.
